~Sun & Moon~

I've researched something about Sun and Moon. Some are from the research and some comes from my own opinion and experience.

Sun:
- a star at the center of the Solar System
- lights/ bright
- Helios (Greek name)
- Sol (Latin name)
- energy
- passion
- resource of subsistence
- powerful
- male

Moon:
- Earth's natural satellite
- Selene (Greek name)
- Luna (Latin name)
- Isis (Egyptian name)
- grow/ shrink (since when day becomes night, the sea level increases)
- peace
- sadness/ boredom
- madness/ cruelty (since moonlight can make lepers become mad and feel painful)
- female

Some symbols of Sun and Moon that I like:

That is a very nice one: simple but meaningful. In my opinion, it is created depending on the astrological and astronomical symbol: a circle with a point at its center, and some clever straight lines are added to make it more strange and special. However, we still recognise that it's a symbol of The Sun, right?

This one makes me feel so strange when looking at it since it doesn't look like The Sun at all. But according to a reseach on Wikipedia, it's said that the form of triple spiral sometimes is understood as a symbol of The Sun. I do like that because of its specific meaning and beautiful shapes.

This symbol represents the Moon. It first looks like a small sweet candy, huh? When taking a careful look, we can see this one is made by one full moon and 2 half moon. If it is a logo for a candy store named "Moon" or something like that, it'll be so sweet and impressive.
